Giving to HMI
Impact of your Philanthropy
Thank you for considering the Health Management and Informatics Department in your philanthropic endeavors. As we train the next generation of healthcare leaders and informatics professionals, we want to ensure we are:
- Recruiting the best and brightest students with competitive scholarship packages.
- Attracting and retaining top-quality faculty to educate our students and conduct research in our facilities.
- Providing up-to-date video conferencing technology and classroom space most conducive to learning.
Your gift to the department supports our mission, and for that, we are grateful. In the past, philanthropic gifts have made possible, among other things, the development of a faculty position named for beloved former chair of the department, Dr. Stuart Wesbury; funded many student scholarships; provided travel funds for students to attend case study competitions and professional conferences. Most recently, we are creating a scholarship named for award-winning faculty member, Dr. Lanis L. Hicks. To support the scholarship in her name, click here
