Dr. Cheryl Rathert Wins 2008 Academy of Management Award
Dr. Cheryl Rathert, Assistant Professor of Health Services Management in HMI, has won the 2008 Health Care Management Division Best Paper Award from the Academy of Management.
Dr. Rathert's winning paper is entitled "Person-Centered Work Environments in Health Care: Preliminary Test of a Theoretical Framework" and was co-authored by Ghadir Ishqaidef, Ph.D. student at The University of Kansas School of Business, and Douglas R. May, Professor and Co-director, International Center for Ethics in Business, University of Kansas School of Business.
The award, sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), will be presented during the Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA, August 2008.
