HSM Program Ranked 12th Nationally
HMI's Health Services Management program and other MU health care education programs earned high rankings again in the annual U.S. News & World Report "Best Graduate Schools, 2009 Edition." The program rankings were based on the results of peer assessment surveys sent to deans, administrators, and faculty at accredited degree programs or schools in Health Administration.
The Health Services Management master's degree program tied for 12th place nationally. The School of Medicine was ranked second in the nation for family medicine. The Sinclair School of Nursing was ranked 49th for its nursing program and 27th for its family nurse practitioner specialty program. The School of Health Professions was ranked 30th for its clinical psychology program, 49th for its physical therapy program and 68th for its speech-language pathology program.
