MU Team Wins First Place in 2013 Clarion Competition
The University of Missouri team took the first place at the 2013 Clarion National Case Competition in Minneapolis April 19th-20th. The Clarion Case Competition brings together inter-professional teams from several universities to work on an adverse events-related case, creating a root cause analysis, and propose solutions to problems. The team presents their analysis to a panel of interprofessional judges that evaluates their analysis in the context of real world standards of practice. MU also won the 2005, 2009, and 2011 Clarion competitions.
This year's MU team is comprised of the following four students representing four different professions:
- Scott Bartkoski, Medicine
- Terri Stone, Nursing
- Sabrina Abramovitz, Public Health
- Kaci Dannatt, Health Management and Informatics
Please join us in congratulating the team and especially HMI's own Kaci Dannatt!
