Overview: Armineh Zohrabian is an Assistant Professor in health management in the Department of Health Management and Informatics. She received her PhD in Applied Economics from Auburn University in 2000, and has worked as a health economist in multidisciplinary teams with organizations such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in Canada.

Research Areas: Armineh Zohrabian's research focuses on three main areas: 1) Payment methods; 2) Hospital care; and 3) Community health, aiming to understand the effect of different payment methods on treatment and preventive strategies from hospital, physician, patient and societal perspectives.

The fundamental goal of Zohrabian's research is to identify factors determining optimal behaviors and decisions so that past and future investments in health and health care may have greater health impact.

Teaching: Graduate courses in health economics and healthcare financial management.
